Porsche builds exceptionally well designed and superior performing vehicles.
Driven and maintained properly, they will give you many years of service and smiles as you get them out on the road or track.
Our sponsors can provide all necessary and proper maintenance to keep your Porsche safely on the road for many years and thousands of miles.
We also encourage our members, who have a desire and knack for vehicle maintenance, to roll up their sleeves and enjoy a more hands-on appreciation of Porsche design and function.

Are you aware of the Tech Tips and the Q&A pages on the PCA.org website? There's a tremendous wealth of content regarding your car in those pages.
One of the reasons you probably chose a Porsche is for their legendary reliability. Whether or not this is true largely depends on how they were cared for and maintained before you bought it. Now that you own it, do the right thing and bring it up to speed by adhering to the maintenance schedule and taking care of anything that needs replacing. Here are some items not to forget.
Factory manuals are great if you can find one. Using an advanced search on Google, limit the results to have an extension “.PDF” and you will be amazed what you can find. Haynes Manuals, while somewhat basic, also offer a lot of good safety advice, and information about how to use tools.
You Tube videos can also be a great source, but be sure to watch several before starting on a job.
Ask fellow PCA members. Members ask technical questions all the time on Face Book.
Not having the proper tools can be dangerous and can lead to damaging the car. Only use tools for their intended purpose.
Ensure you have the proper parts to do the job before you start. There is nothing more frustrating than finding out the part the parts store gave you is not the right one.
Work slowly and use a check list. Often I make a check list and write all my torque settings on the list. Forgetting to install that one bolt, or missing the torque setting can cause problems.
If it does not fit do not force it.
Take a break, walk away, and clear you mind. Re-watch some videos or consult the manual. When you get back to work often you will realize the problem and now the part just mates perfectly.
