    Old Iron Days Drive

  • When: 9/29/2018 - 9/29/2018, 8 a.m.
  • Where: Utica Square, 22nd and Yorktown Tulsa OK None
  • We have a new driving event planned for Saturday, September 29th.  Our destination is the Wilson County Old Iron Club show grounds in Fredonia, KS.  The show features working vintage machinery and demonstrations of historic farming methods and domestic ways of the past.

    Some of the highlights are:

       -   Parade of power (vintage tractor parade)

       -   Food Vendors on the show grounds.  There are also good diner options in town listed on the Old Iron Club web site

       -   In addition to all the operating machinery the show grounds include bank, church, general mercantile, and much more, all presented in a small town/community format

    Meet at Utica Square southeast corner parking lot (22nd and Yorktown) @ 8:00, wheels up at 8:15.  Route map will be provided along with the customary CRPCA Waiver.

    Scenic drive includes Skiatook Lake, rest break in Pawhuska, thru Tall Grass Prairie area, then on to Kansas.  Estimated travel time including rest break is 3 hours.  Return at your leisure via HWY 75 for a shorter 2 hr route home anytime Saturday afternoon.
